2 TIPS FOR EASILY FINDING THINGS ON THE SITE…
If you’re on your phone or a tablet - the site looks and works differently than the desktop / laptop site. But, no matter whether you’re mobile or on a laptop - it may be easier to click or tap “Shop by Category” or “Shop by Brand” if you want to browse a certain type of product or like a specific manufacturer. On a phone - these are near the bottom of the Home Page and you can do the same things from a menu at the top, right corner of our Home Page. There may be 2 different sets of horizontal lines representing menus. If your item is in one of our most popular categories - you may see the name of the category at the top and bottom of the page, and of course you can drill down from those.
Also, if you search for a type of product or a specific item and it doesn’t appear - try a variation, or scroll to the “Shop by Category” or “Shop by Brand” link and you can probably find it that way. We’re still adding search terms to the site, so for example… if you search for “grips” or “gloves” and don’t get enough results - try dropping the “s” and search for “grip” or “glove.” Please let us know if any issues you have that we may be able to tweak - we want you to have a smooth shopping experience… and by the way - watch for the spill on aisle 9. A raccoon knocked over a bottle of coyote urine… again.
TIPS FOR SAVING MONEY…
This may be more than you care to know, but as customers of stores that sell the same products that we now sell - we always wondered about pricing, discounts, coupon codes, sales, “shopping cart surprises,” and… how to get the best deal without opening 92 sites and trying to find the same exact products. See our YouTube video on this - it’s worth your time… basically like being paid to watch it. We’ll pass along manufacturer rebates, distributor discounts, and occasionally we may have sales or feature certain items. But, mostly - we want to avoid the tricks, tactics, points, and things like time-limited coupon codes that make you work for the best price - and just give it to you. By doing that, we believe that we’ll be your favorite store for the things we sell, and hopefully you’ll be able to save yourself some time and help the families of our staff by shopping here for the things you love.
SO… WHAT’S “Add to cart for best price?”
Some manufacturers have policies that their products can’t be advertised at prices that are discounted more than a specific amount. We don’t want to violate any agreements with them. So, by adding an item to your cart, you’re seeing our price - which we’ve discounted even more, to compete with other stores - in a place that it’s not advertised. Only a customer with an account and our staff can see it, and only after adding it to their cart. So, it’s not a tactic - it’s just a way to make an item sellable and to give you the best possible price.
HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?
The reality is that you may add items to your cart that will ship from more than one location. If your shipping cost increases from FREE (if your order is large enough and the size and weight of the items qualify), or from our standard shipping cost - to a higher amount - then either you have a large and/or heavy item, or your items are coming from more than one location. If you don’t have any large or heavy items - call or email us and we’ll go over your cart to see if something is coming from a second warehouse - then you won’t have to spend time adding and deleting each item and seeing if the shipping cost changes or which item is the one that’s coming from another warehouse and causing the increase.
MORE ABOUT OUR LOWEST TOTAL COST PRICING PROMISE…
If you see any item on our site that’s priced higher than on another legitimate site - please let us know. It may be an error, it may be that they received a discount for buying a larger quantity, or there may be a rebate or sale from the manufacturer that we haven’t applied. Either way - our goal is that when you view your shopping cart - the total is lower than the exact same items would cost you, elsewhere.
Our cost for each item can change, and the profit margin on each item is different - so, we’ll gladly go through your cart and see if any adjustments can be made. We just need the name of the site where you found the items at a lower cost and your username for our site - so we can view your cart, or just email us a list for a quote.
